What is the best way to close a wine bottle? Natural cork, Agglomerated/technical corks, Screw caps (caps/screw tops), or Synthetic corks? Wine bottle closures come in several forms, each influencing preservation, aging, and convenience.

Closure choice is about intended aging, consistency, and cost, not quality. Great wine comes with every closure—dogma optional. Each closure reflects a balance between tradition, practicality, and the intended style of the wine.  Let’s talk about it over some great Stone House Vineyard wine and food pairings from Chef Kristine.
