Master Class: A Taste of California
Thursday, September 24 at 6:00PM
Tasting Stone House Vineyard wines from Napa Valley and Sonoma County offers a study in contrast shaped by climate and style. Napa Valley is known for its polished, structured wines—especially Cabernet Sauvignon—showing ripe fruit, firm tannins, and a sense of power. Sonoma County, with its broader range of microclimates, produces wines that often lean more toward elegance and restraint, from vibrant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay near the coast to richer expressions inland. Side by side, Napa tends to emphasize intensity and richness, while Sonoma highlights nuance, freshness, and diversity. Our featured wine will be the latest release of our Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley.

Master Class: A Taste of Australia
Thursday, November 19 at 6:00PM
Last Master Class, we highlighted Stone House Vineyard’s California wine portfolio. This month, we go back to Angela’s roots to taste some of the best wines from Australia’s Barossa and Eden Valleys. Tasting wines from Barossa Valley and Eden Valley reveals a striking interplay between power and finesse. Barossa Valley is famed for its bold, full-bodied Shiraz, offering rich dark fruit, chocolate, and spice with a plush, opulent texture. Just next door, Eden Valley sits at higher elevations, producing more restrained and elegant wines—particularly Shiraz with lifted aromatics and vibrant acidity, as well as pristine, lime-driven Riesling. Together, they showcase how subtle shifts in altitude and climate can shape dramatically different expressions within the same region. Our featured wine will be Angela’s Wish, a classic Barossa red blend.
